Who is Jenn Michelle?

I've been "emoting in color" for as long as I can remember. When I was a little girl, my imagination would roam all over the paper with every color in the crayon box. As I grew I began to notice how deeply my emotions influenced the way I used color - how certain moods pulled my palette in unexpected directions.

Now, as an adult, I've come to see color as both a language and a form of therapy. Painting helps me process the complex and often beautiful layers of feeling that come with being human. My work is rooted in intuition and emotional truth - each piece a small window into a moment, a mood, or a shift in my inner landscape.

These works take the form of expressive and impressionistic landscapes, imagined skies or abstract natural scenes - places that don't exist in our world, but feel familiar somehow.

Each piece is curated with care in my home studio, using a mix of high-quality materials and thoughtfully upcycled elements. I use self-modified paintbrushes, unconventional materials such as dental tools and thorns to achieve unique textures and movement that reflect the emotional core of the piece.

Whether you're drawn to a piece because of its palette, its energy, or something you can't quite name - I'm honored that it speaks to you.
